Approvals - Configure Send Email Review Workflow Step for Vendor Workflow

Overview

This guide provides a step-by-step walkthrough to configure the Send Email Review step of the vendor workflow for Netgain Approvals.

Prerequisites: Must be logged in as an administrator in the NetSuite account and have copied the workflows installed with the bundle.

Step by Step Process 

  1. Navigate to Customization > Workflow and select Workflows.
  2. Select Edit next to the copy of the Approvals - Vendor (Template) workflow created here.
  3. Select Send Review Email field.
  4. Select New Action.
  5. Select Approvals - Send Email (With Link) (Custom).
  6. Navigate to the Email Template ID row and select Approvals - Review Transaction from the Value column dropdown.
  7. Navigate to the Approvals App Script Deployment row and select Honey Approvals Login from the Value column dropdown.
  8. Navigate to the Email Sender (Employee) row and select an employee from the Value column dropdown.
  9. Check the Include Access Link box.
  10. Check the Include Transaction PDF box.
  11. Check the Include Transaction Attachments box.
  12. OPTIONAL and NOT OFTEN RECOMMENDED - Check the Save Email on Transaction/Record box. NOTE - This is not often recommended due to the fact that if the approval email is saved on the record, any role that has permissions to see emails on the record would be able to approve.
  13. Navigate to the Template Merge Entity ID row and enter {id} in the Formula column field.
  14. Select Save.
