SuperSync Files - Create a SharePoint Connection

Overview

This guide provides a comprehensive walkthrough for setting up a connection between SuperSync Files in NetSuite and Microsoft SharePoint. This connection enables users to synchronize files between their local system and SharePoint, ensuring that their data is always up-to-date and accessible across platforms.

Prerequisites

Step by Step Process

  1. Navigate to  SuperSync Files > Configs > Connections
  2. Select New SSF | Connection
  3.  Name your connection, edit the File Tab Name if desired (this will default to "SuperSync Files" and will be how it is displayed on the NetSuite record)
    1. Note, if connecting Sharepoint and Google Drive in the same environment, this file tab name needs to be different for each connection
  4. Select Microsoft Sharepoint in the Document Connector dropdown.
  5. Select Microsoft
  6. Populate the Microsoft sub-tab
    1. Paste your Tenant ID in the Microsoft Tenant ID field. Your Microsoft admin can provide your tenant ID or find it here
    2. Insert your SharePoint Site Domain. You can identify this by looking at the URL within SharePoint and replacing the bold in the following example: https://[company].Sharepoint.com/ Note: it is necessary to include the forward slash (/) at the end.
    3. Insert your SharePoint Site Path. You can identify this by looking at the URL within SharePoint that comes after the domain above: https://[company].sharepoint.com/sites/[Sitepath]
    4. Insert your SharePoint Base Folder Path where your files will reside. This is commonly Shared Documents but can progress down the file path to SharedDocuments/[Folder Path]
      1. There will be a section for a Production connection and a Sandbox connection. Please make sure to have both if using a separate base folder for Sandbox (recommended). The app will automatically determine the connection based on the environment the user is active.
    5. Select Save
  7. Once saved navigate back to the Microsoft sub-tab.
  8. NOTE - This step needs to be completed by the Microsoft admin. This will only need to be done for the first connection that is setup.
Select Microsoft Admin Consent Link and follow the prompts to grant the SuperSync Files bundle SharePoint access
