SuperSync Files - Archive Files
Overview
SuperSync Files version 0.6.0 introduced the capability to archive files that exist in the NetSuite File Cabinet using NetSuite Saved Search formulas. This guide will walk you through the process of one-off archiving of files or on a schedule as well as how to see what files have been archived in NetSuite.
Prerequisites: SuperSync Files Version 0.3.2. NetSuite Administrator Access. This requires a working knowledge of SuiteQL.
Step by Step Process
- Navigate to SuperSync Files > Configs and select Record Type Configs.
- Select Edit for the record type in need of archiving.
- Select Other Settings.
- Check the Enable Automatic File Archive box and select Save.
- Navigate to SuperSync Files > Configs > File Archive Script Configs and select New.
- Select and submit Name.
- Navigate to the Saved Searches field and select the dropdown.
- Select the Saved Search that meets your criteria and select Done.
- Select Save.
- Select View.
- Select Schedule Archive.
- Select OK.
- Select Scheduled from the Status dropdown.
- Schedule as needed and select Save.
- Select Parameters.
- Select the link to the SFF | Archived Record Config.
- To test you can select Run Archive Now.
- After completion select X.
- Navigate to Documents > Files and select File Cabinet.
- Expand SuiteApps and select com.scscloud.files.
- Select Archived.
- A folder titled SSF | Archived Files will display including the date the files were archived.
- The archived files now have a title prefaced with SSF |.
Now that the files have been archived, they can be deleted or dealt with as desired.
