Approvals - Remove Originator from Approval Steps - Global

Overview 

This guide provides a step-by-step walkthrough to globally remove the originator from approval steps using Netgain Approvals. This removes the approval originator (more generally the person who submitted the record for approval) from any approval steps where they are the approver themselves.

Prerequisites: Have purchased and installed the Netgain Approvals bundle and have NetSuite admin access.

Step by Step Process 

1. In the top right corner, navigate to ... > Approvals > Configs > Global Configs and select Global Configs. View full size
2. Select New Approvals Config to create new or Edit to edit an existing. View full size
3. Check Remove Originator from Approval Steps box. View full size
4. Select Save. View full size
