How to Grant User Access in NetSuite


Prerequisites:

  1. Ensure you are logged in as a NetSuite Administrator.
  2. Verify that the user has the SuperSync Email add-in installed. This article gives instructions on how to install the add-in, if add-in are managed by the Outlook Administrator, this article provides the steps on how to install the add-in by the administrator.
  3. Ensure the SuperSync Email token is available.

Steps:

  1. Navigate to the Employee Record:

    • Go to Lists β†’ Employees to access the desired user’s Employee Record.
  2. Edit the Employee Record:

    • Click Edit on the Employee Record.
    • Scroll down to locate and select the Access tab.
  3. Assign SuperSync Email Profile:

    • In the SuperSync Email Profile section, select the appropriate level of access for this user. This article covers the various profiles and restrictions.
  4. Email Address Aliases:

    • If the user's email address differs from the one listed on their Employee Record, enter the correct email address in the SuperSync Email Address Aliases field.
  5. Save:

    • Click Save to apply the changes.
  6. Login to the Add-in:

    • Once saved, the user can use the SuperSync Email token to log in to the add-in within their Outlook.
