Punchout - Ordering Portlet Error
Immediately after updating the Punchout bundle, at times the Punchout tiles Portlet can show an error similar to the following.
An nlobjSearchColumn contains an invalid column, or is not in proper syntax: ______
This happens as NetSuite seems to cache data on the table definition and does not immediately recognize new table columns that were added to tables in recent versions. This will usually solve its self after several minutes but incase it does not the following work-around can be used.
The can be handled as an Adminstrator by opening the Record Type (usually the Punchout Configs or Punchout Vendor Configs record types), finding the column mentioned in the error and "re-saving" the column on the record type without making any changes.
This is generally enough to reset the caching issue and fix the error.
