NetLoan - Training Call Overview
Overview
This article provides an overview of how to prepare for the NetLoan training call, what will be discussed, and outlines next steps following the call.
Client Preparation
Prepare to share your screen during the training. This is because we have found that you can retain much more of the training when guided through the individual training items in a hands-on approach. We would ask that you ensure your role has the necessary NetSuite permissions to use all NetLoan functionality. Typically, we would advise that the individual who will be sharing their screen is provided admin access.
NetLoan Training Call
NetLoan Training typically takes place over the course of two sessions. During the first training session, your Netgain implementation team will walk one of your team members through the loan lifecycle in NetLoan while they share their screen. This usually encompasses everything from creating a new loan and running amortization entries to modifying or paying off a loan early. This training session is typically recorded, so the recording can be shared with your team for future reference.
The second training call will focus on the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable process, covering NetLoan billing and invoicing functionality. It will also cover a brief overview of the Reports offered through NetLoan that can assist with checking month end balances and ensuring clearing accounts are zeroed out on a monthly basis.
Next Steps
- Save training call recording to your files
- Practice these various processes in your sandbox account and become more familiar with NetLoan
- Start your user acceptance testing
