This article explains the importance of data validation and provides an overview of how you can prepare for the data validation call, what will be discussed, and what typical next steps are following the call.

Client Preparation

In preparation, you will want to ensure that all loans have been uploaded into NetSuite and that you have completed your initial data validation following the instructions in the NetLoan Data Validation article. Come prepared with any discrepancies that you might have found so a resolution can be found during the call.

Data Validation Call

The correctness of your data is your responsibility and not the responsibility of your Netgain implementation team. We recommend that you perform a thorough data validation of your data for your protection since this data is used to book your loan journals and will have an effect on your GL and financial reports.

This call is used to discuss any discrepancies that may have surfaced during your data validation. Your Netgain implementation team will be able to provide you with guidance on how to correct your data and address any concerns you may have. They may also give you additional advice on how to more effectively/thoroughly complete your validation.
