NetLoan - Set Up Email Reminders

Use Case

Results from saved searches in NetSuite can be emailed to appropriate individuals to help with the management and analysis of leases.

Prerequisite

  •  Desired saved search is created in NetSuite (Lists > Search > Saved Searches > New)

Step-By-Step Process:

  1. Navigate to desired saved search (Lists > Search > Saved Searches)
  2. Select Edit this Search
  3. Navigate to the Email Subtab
  4.  Select desired options on the Email subtab:
Option NameDescription
Send Email Alerts When Records Are Created/UpdatedCheck this box to trigger email alerts to be sent when new records are created for this search. When you check one or more Send on Update boxes (see screenshot in Step 5), record updates also trigger email alerts.
Send Emails According to ScheduleCheck this box to indicate that search results emails should be sent according to a regular schedule. Define the schedule to be used on the Schedule subtab.
Summarize Scheduled Emails

Clear this box to cause each recipient to receive a separate scheduled email for each matching record. By default, scheduled email recipients receive one email each with a summary of results for their matching records.

Send If No Results

Clear this box to prevent scheduled emails from being sent for searches with no results. By default, scheduled saved search emails are sent even when the search has no results.

Allow Users to SubscribeCheck this box to enable users other than specified recipients to sign up for alerts at Home > Set Preferences > Alerts. This option is available once you have checked the Public and Send Email Alerts When Records are Created/Updated boxes.

   5. Add desired recipients on the Specific Recipients and/or Recipients from Results tabs

   6. Navigate to the Customize Message tab and add desired information

   7. If "Send Emails According to Schedule" has been checked, navigate to the Schedule tab and enter desired email frequency
