Punchout for NetSuite - Use Custom Field for Unique Line Number

Overview

This guide provides a step-by-step walkthrough to allow users to use a custom field for a unique line number when using Punchout for NetSuite. This enables the use of an alternate transaction column field for the transmitted line numbers which are sent to the supplier as part of the cXML PO. If no value is set, the cXML Line Number field will be used which is part of the Punchout bundle.

Prerequisites: Must be logged in as an administrator in the NetSuite account.

Step by Step Process 

1. Navigate to Punchout > Punchout Configs and select Global Configs. View full size

3. Navigate to Line Number Unique Field and enter the internal ID for the desired custom column. View full size
