Analytics - Configuring Microsoft Connection for SuperSync Analytics

Overview

SuperSync Analytics connects to Microsoft using a registered Active Directory Application. This application requires access granted by a user with Administrator privileges on the Microsoft account.

Configuring SuperSync Analytics

Steps to Configure

  1. Access Configuration Record:

    • Navigate to SuperSync Analytics > Configs > Configs.
    • If a configuration record does not exist, create one.
  2. Enter Microsoft Tenant ID:

    • Locate the box indicated for your organization's Microsoft Tenant ID.
    • Paste in the Tenant ID. Instructions for finding the Tenant ID are provided below.
  3. Save and Grant Access:

    • Save the configuration record.
    • An Admin Grant link will appear. A Microsoft Administrator must follow this link to grant access to the app for connecting to PowerBI and Microsoft SharePoint (used as an alternate location for uploading large datasets).
  4. Redirect after Granting Access:

    • Upon clicking the Admin Grant link, the Administrator will typically be redirected back to the NetSuite login page.
    • No further action is required from this point.

Looking Up Your Organization's Tenant ID

The Tenant ID is a unique identifier for your organization within Microsoft's Office365 suite. It may also be referred to as the Microsoft Entra ID. To find the Tenant ID, follow these steps:

  1. Log into Azure Portal:

  2. Access Microsoft Entra ID:

    • Open the Microsoft Entra ID.
  3. Locate the Tenant ID:

    • On the main page under Microsoft Entra ID, find the box displaying the Tenant ID.
    • The Tenant ID is an alphanumeric string in the following format: xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx.
