Shared Transactions - Updating Your Sandbox License
Overview
Netgain provisions every sandbox with an Unlimited license so you can explore all Shared Transactions features before purchasing a license. Because a sandbox license is intentionally Unlimited, clicking Sync License will not downgrade it to match your production tier.
To test as though you were on your production license, turn off the features that aren't part of that license on the Netgain Tools Setup page.
Update Your Sandbox License to Match Production
To mimic your production license in a sandbox, unmark the features that aren't enabled in production:
- In the NetSuite global search bar, enter Netgain Tools Setup.
- Select the Netgain Tools Setup page from the results.
- Click Edit.
- Unmark any features that are not enabled or available in your production instance. For example: Is Enabled Advanced Intercompany Billing and Is Enabled Shared Payments.
To see what features are enabled in production, go to Netgain > Setup > System Setup > Shared Transactions License
5. Click Save.
Your sandbox now reflects the same feature set as your production license, so you can test accordingly.
This changes feature availability, not your license
Unmarking these features controls which Shared Transactions features are available in your sandbox for testing. It does not change your actual license entitlement. If you later want to explore a feature that isn't in your production license, re-mark it on this same page.
