NetCash Installation
OVERVIEW
In order to access NetCash within NetSuite, the proper application must first be installed.
The below steps must be completed by a user with “Access Token Management” permission and it is recommended that it be a user with Administrator permission. Additionally, this user must stay active in NetSuite, otherwise, the token will not work. This will cause Netgain and the client to be unable to push updates to the system. If this user does become inactive in the system, a new token will need to be created. If this situation occurs, follow the same steps below to create a new token. It is not necessary to reinstall the application.
STEP BY STEP PROCESS
Confirm that the bundle "SuiteCloud Development Integration" is set up in the desired environment by navigating to Customization > SuiteBundler > Search & Install Bundles > List
Confirm that "Custom Records", "Custom Transactions", "OAuth 2.0", "Token-Based Authentication", and "REST Web Services" are enabled in the system by navigating to Setup > Company > Enable Features > SuiteCloud
Once confirmed, a user with “Access Token Management” permission can navigate to Home > Manage Access Tokens > New My Access Token (go to the dashboard and scroll down to the settings section, this is where you will find Manage Access Tokens)
- Select the Application Name of “SuiteCloud Development Integration”
- Select Save
- Copy the Access Token ID and Token Secret (Once the record is left, the credentials will no longer appear)
Once you have copied the Token ID and Secret, navigate to the Netgain provisioning site
Select "Sign In"
If you are not already signed into NetSuite, you will be directed to sign in
- On the authorization screen select "Continue"
- You will now be redirected back to the provisioning screen
- Select Tokens
Select New
Enter applicable token information and select Save
Navigate back to Apps and select NetCash
On the NetCash screen select Install
Once installed, you will see NetCash as a Center Tab in NetSuite
Now that the application has been installed, all desired individuals must be given the appropriate permissions. To do this, reference the NetCash Roles and Permissions article.
