NetLessor - Lease Residual Value Details

Purpose

The Lease Residual Value Details report provides a detail listing of lease residual value guarantees. Lease residual value details are added to a lease record within the accounting subtab under the Disclosure Information field group.

See the Assign Accounting Information to the Lease Record article for more information.

Navigation:

NetLessor > Reports (All or Management) > Lease Residual Value Details > Run

Filtering:

The report search can be narrowed down by adjusting the filters for commencement date, dates, subsidiary, lease type, and status. The report will automatically update as filtering options are selected.

Recommended
Filter by specific lease or by "All" to see a full list of leases with residual value guarantees.

Results

Upon running the report the user will see the residual value estimate for each lease. Residual value guaranteed by lessee and 3rd parties will also be listed. Each lease line item will include general information about the lease (ID, classification, vendor, etc.) and initial lease start balance information (Commencement date, lease asset fair value, initial payment amount, etc.).

Troubleshooting

Is the report missing leases?

  1. Check the selected filters to ensure leases are not being restricted from view.
  2. Verify the lease record should be included on the report to make sure there is a residual value associated with that lease. View this from the lease record.
