NetLoan - NetLoan Setup: AI Settings
Overview
As part of the initial setup, a user must navigate and set the global accounting preferences. This article focuses on the settings found on the "AI Settings" tab.
Prerequisite: You must have previously installed the NetLoan bundle (release 2026.2.2.0 or later) into your NetSuite account and be logged in with the Administrator role.
Navigation
- Navigate to the NetLoan System Setup page. NetLoan > NetLoan Setup > System Setup
- Make sure you are viewing the "AI Settings" tab.

AI SETTINGS
This tab is used to enable Netgain AI Features for your account, connect your account to the Netgain AI service, and monitor your daily AI usage. The AI Assistant sidebar will not be available to users until this tab shows a Connected status and the "AI Assistant" box is checked on the System Features tab.
Enabling AI Features
| Step | Description |
| Enable AI Features | Click this button to begin setup. The Netgain AI Features Terms of Service will be displayed. |
| Accept / Reject | Review the terms and click Accept to continue. Reject returns you to the status page without enabling anything. |
| Client ID / Client Secret | A Client ID and Client Secret are automatically generated for your account. These values are stored encrypted in your NetSuite account and are used to track your account's AI usage. Do not change them. |
| Enable & Connect | Click this button to save the credentials and connect your account. The tab will refresh and show a Connected status. |
Status
| Field | Description |
| AI Enabled | Indicates whether AI Features have been enabled for this account. Shows "Disabled" until the terms have been accepted and credentials saved, then "Enabled". |
| Connection Status | Shows the live connection to the Netgain AI service. ⚪ Not Connected means AI has not been enabled. 🔴 Connection Error means AI is enabled but the credentials are missing or invalid. 🟢 Connected means the account is ready to use. |
| Daily Token Usage | The number of AI tokens your account has used today. Usage is tracked per account and resets daily. |
| AI Daily Usage | The percentage of your account's daily token allowance used so far. AI usage is currently free and limited to 1,000,000 tokens per account per day. |
Reconnecting
If the Connection Status shows 🔴 Connection Error, click the Reconnect button. New credentials are generated and you are returned through Enable & Connect. You do not need to accept the terms again.
