NetLoan - System Setup: Manage Upgrades

Overview

As part of the initial setup, a user must navigate and set the global accounting preferences. This article focuses on the settings found on the "Manage Upgrades" tab.

Prerequisite: You must have previously installed the NetLoan bundle into your NetSuite account.

Navigation

Navigate to the NetLoan System Setup page. NetLoan > NetLoan Setup > System Setup
Make sure you are viewing the "Manage Upgrades" tab.

Manage Upgrades

Field	Required?	Description	Example
Upgrade Preference	Yes	Choose the frequency at which you would like your bundle to automatically upgrade. Accept All: Your bundle is upgraded for minor updates throughout the year. Bi-Annual Upgrade - Leading: The bundle is upgraded 2 times a year on release dates. Bi-Annual Upgrade - Trailing: The bundle is upgraded 2 times a year and 4 weeks after release date. This is the system default upon installation. Annual Upgrade Spring - Leading: The bundle is upgraded every March upon release. Annual Upgrade Spring - Trailing: The bundle is upgraded every April 4 weeks after release. Annual Upgrade Fall - Leading: The bundle is upgraded every September upon release. Annual Upgrade Fall - Trailing: The bundle is upgraded every October 4 weeks after release. Custom: Select a custom date the bundle should be updated on. Note, the bundle must be updated at least once a year.	Bi-Annual Upgrade - Trailing
Next Upgrade Date	No	If the Upgrade Preference of "Custom" was selected then this is where the next upgrade date can be selected as long as it is withina year form the last upgrade date. If any other Upgrade Preference was selected then this field will display the next scheduled upgrade date based on your preference.	4/24/2026
Allow Uninstall	No	Check this box to allow the uninstallation of NetLoan.	✔
Block Managed Upgrades	No	Check this box to prevent automatic upgrades of NetLoan. This setting cannot be set manually. Please reach out to support@netgain.techif this setting is needed.	✔
Last Upgraded Date	No	This field shows the date that your product was last upgraded.	10/24/2025

Send Release Notes To Subtab

This is a subtab where information is entered for those individuals in your organization who would like to receive release notes when NetLoan Upgrades become available.

Name	Yes	Enter the name of the individual receiving the release notes.	John Adam
Email	Yes	Enter the email address of the individual receiving the release notes.	jadam@netgain.tech

In-App Messages Subtab

In-app messages will be sent out to inform users of new features and other useful information that will help prevent errors, share helpful materials, and keep your organization up-to-date. This subtab displays the in-app messages sent to your account and their status.

Field	Required?	Description	Example
Title	Disabled	Title of the in-app message.	New Functionality Added
Status	Disabled	This shows the status of the message and whether it is still active.	Active
Message	Disabled	This shows the actual message being displayed.	We have great new features available!
