Cart Capture - Release Notes

Cart Capture is versioned on its own, separately from the Punchout for NetSuite SuiteApp it requires. Changes to the SuiteApp are in the Punchout for NetSuite release notes. Version numbers follow a {major}.{minor}.{patch} numbering system. Patch version numbers may be skipped if a version was prepared but never published.

Version 1.0.4
2 November 2026

IMPROVEMENTS:
- The Connection checks card in the advanced view now matches the panel's other cards.

BUG FIXES:
- After switching to another NetSuite account, or removing one, the advanced view no longer shows the previous account's connection checks.
- When the access check fails, Cart Capture no longer asks NetSuite a second time straight after, so the message on screen and the connection checks always describe the same attempt.
- An access check still running when you switch accounts, connect or log in no longer shows its result on the account you moved to. Connecting and logging in always check the account now showing.
- The advanced view's Connection checks card no longer stays on screen after access is confirmed, its Run checks again button keeps its own width, and a warning that does not stop capture shows in amber rather than red.

Version 1.0.3
12 October 2026

BUG FIXES:
- "Could not verify your extension access" is no longer a dead end. Cart Capture now runs its connection checks in order (the NetSuite account, its permission to reach that account, the NetSuite session, your access, the licence and the AI gateway) and says which one failed. Connect, Log in to NetSuite, Retry and opening the panel all run the same checks, so the answer no longer depends on which button was pressed
- When Cart Capture is missing permission to reach the NetSuite account, the panel now says so and offers Allow access, which asks for the permission and runs the checks again. Earlier versions reported it as being unable to reach NetSuite, with nothing on screen that could fix it
- Logging out and back in now runs every check again, so whatever is still wrong is reported with its reason
- The support export now carries the result of each connection check and the last access check, so the cause can be read from the export
- Accounts on punchout 1.22.1 to 1.24.1 also need punchout 1.24.2 or later, which gives the PunchOut Service Role the Employee Record permission the access check reads

Version 1.0.0
10 August 2026

NEW FEATURES:
- First release of Cart Capture, which reads a shopping cart from a supplier website that does not support punchout and sends it to NetSuite, where it opens on the return cart screen to finish as a purchase order. Requires the Punchout for NetSuite SuiteApp
- Opens as a side panel that stays open across tabs. Connect a NetSuite account once and Cart Capture uses your own NetSuite login, with several accounts, such as production and sandboxes, connected and switched between
- Reads the cart with site-specific readers for known suppliers, a general reader for other sites, and an AI reader that works from screenshots when AI is enabled on the Punchout Configuration
- Shows a confidence score and the captured lines before sending, with quantity, description and price editable
- Access is per user, through Cart Capture seats on the employee record
- Advanced view for administrators, with capture details and a support export
