Overview

This document outlines the steps required to update the credentials for direct link queries in PowerBI online.

Steps to Update Credentials

1. Log into PowerBI Online:

   • Navigate to powerbi.com.
   • Log in using your PowerBI credentials.

2. Access the Correct Workspace:

   • Use the left sidebar to locate and open the workspace where the data and report have been published. View full size

3. Identify the Dataset:

   • Look for the dataset or "Semantic Model" that represents the data requiring a credentials update. View full size

4. Open Settings Page:

   • Select the dataset and navigate to its settings page. View full size

5. Edit Credentials:

   • In the settings page, locate and click the Edit Credentials setting. View full size

6. Enter Credentials:

   • Select Basic Authentication.
   • Enter the NetSuite Token as the username and the Secret as the password.
   • Click Sign In to connect and save the credentials. View full size
