SSEO - New Releases
SuperSync Email for Outlook — v1.78.0 Released April 2, 2026
What's New
Custom NetSuite Records Now Supported
SuperSync Email now supports custom NetSuite record types, expanding beyond standard records to give your team more flexibility in how emails are logged and organized. From within Outlook, users can now search, log, and create against custom records — and those records are fully supported by caching for faster search results.
To enable custom record support, a NetSuite administrator must ensure two settings are active on each custom record type: Name must be enabled (so the record is searchable), and Mail Merge must be enabled (so emails can be logged against it). Both settings are required.
Once configured, custom records will appear alongside standard records in search results within the Outlook add-in.

Faster Record Search Results with Caching
SuperSync Email now supports optional record caching, which significantly reduces the time it takes to return search results when matching emails to NetSuite records. Rather than querying NetSuite live on every sync operation, SSEO can now pull from a dedicated cache server — returning results faster and reducing load on your NetSuite instance.
Caching is opt-in and must be enabled by an administrator. To get started, navigate to SuperSync Email Global Configs in NetSuite, check the Enable Cache checkbox, and accept the End User License Agreement. Once activated, the cache will populate at the next scheduled sync or immediately using the Cache Now button.
For full details on configuration and security, see the Caching Overview article.
In-Add-In Update Notifications
You'll now see alerts directly in the SuperSync Email Outlook add-in when new features are available. Each notification links to the latest release notes so you're always up to date without having to go looking for it.
