NetLoan - Principal Adjustment Waterfall Report
Overview
The loan principal adjustment waterfall report displays the expected principal to be paid down over time. This report is expected to be used as a forward-looking report.
Navigation:
NetLoan > Reports (All or Subledger) > Loan Principal Adjustment Waterfall Report > Run
Filtering:
The report search can be narrowed down by adjusting the filters for subsidiary, currency, department, class, location, loan, accounting period, or date. Once the desired filters are set, click the Preview button to view the report. This report is most useful when selecting a date range. Note that the "Report Level" filter determines the level of detail that will be shown in the report, both in the UI and when exported.
The accounting periods filter flows from the accounting periods set up in NetSuite. Selecting a quarter or year will create a column for each of the periods in that interval.
Results
Upon running the schedule, you will see the principal to be paid down over time by loan type for the selected period/date range. You can drill down to see the adjustments on an individual loan level. Select the Export button to download the report into Excel.
Troubleshooting
Is the report missing loans?
1. If desired loans do not appear in the report, check the selected filters to ensure loans are not being restricted from view.
2. Verify loan status has been updated from pending to commenced or further.
