Asset Types and Account Mapping
The first document that we will use in the implementation provides a template for gathering the required information for asset types which are required before uploading individual assets. The most important part of this template is the account mapping which is where we match the accounts from the various journal entry types that NetAsset will record to the specific GL accounts for the company. An example has been filled out in column E.

NetAsset Upload Template
This template is used to load existing fixed assets into the system using NetSuite's native CSV uploader. It outlines the key data that is necessary to calculate depreciation and other required information. We can track any additional fields that you would like, so if there is a field you don't see that you would like to track with your fixed assets, this can be added as a new column.
