Approvals - Approver Hierarchy Customization
Netgain Approvals allows users to make use of the native NetSuite approver hierarchy but increases flexibility with options for customization.
Hierarchy Next Approver Custom Field - Enter an override field ID to use a specific field to hold the next approver in the hierarchy. If not populated it will use the standard employee "Purchase Approver" field and if that is blank it will attempt to use the "Supervisor" field as the next approver.
Hierarchy Approval Limit Custom Field - Enter an override field ID to use a specific field to hold the approval limit. If not populated it will use the standard employee "Purchase Approval Limit" field.
Use Approver Formula for First Approver - Check this box to use the "Approver Formula" to determine the first initial individual on the approval hierarchy chain. If this is left blank, the Approval Originator field installed with the approvals bundle will be used.
Last Hierarchy Approver Only - Check this box to add only the final approver from the approval hierarchy who has a sufficient limit to approve the amount given. This will skip all of the approvers with lesser approval limits.
