NetClose - Creating New Amortizations

Prerequisite

Before you create an amortization for the first time, you'll need to make sure your Amortization Types are set up in NetClose.

Overview

There are four ways to create amortizations in NetClose. 

1. Mass CSV Upload— most common during go live
2. Create from scratch (NetClose > Amortization > Create New Amortization)— recommended if amortization has no source transaction
3. Create from Transaction— recommended process if creating new amortizations from posted transactions
4. Auto-Create Amortization from Transaction— recommended process if wishing to auto-create amortizations on transaction creation
