NetClose - Inactivating Flux Scenarios

Overview:

This article will walk you through how to simplify and clean up the “Review Flux Analysis” page by marking flux scenarios as “inactive”. Over time clients will continually build more flux scenarios. By using the “inactive” scenarios feature, the flux scenarios will be stored to be referenced later, but not show up in the “Review Flux Analysis” page. This can help clients keep information on the “Review Flux Analysis” page clean and easier to navigate.

Step by step process:

Navigate to flux scenarios by going to NetClose> Flux Analysis > Flux Scenarios. This page will show all of the flux scenarios that have been generated. Select the “Show Inactives” button which will populate another column called “Inactive” to the left of each scenario.

If you don’t want the flux scenario to be an option to edit in the “Review Flux Analysis” page, select the box to the left of the scenario. Then select “Submit” to save the inactive scenarios. In the screenshot below, the only scenarios that will appear on the “Review Flux Analysis page” are the Aug 22 vs. Aug 23, Aug 23 to Oct 23 and Aug 23 and Sep 23 for the parent (consolidated) subsidiary.

Navigate to the "Review Flux Analysis" by going to NetClose > Flux Analysis > Review Flux Analysis. You will see only the active scenarios on the scenario drop-down list.

You can still reference all of the flux scenarios and explanations generated previously by going back to NetClose > Flux Analysis > Flux Scenarios. Follow the same process. You can check the “Show Inactives” box and uncheck the box next to the scenario you want to see on the “Review Flux Analysis” page.
