NetClose - Flux Analysis Dimensions

Overview

Flux Analysis Dimensions gives users the flexibility to analyze account variances across multiple business dimensions—including Entity (Customer or Vendor), Transaction Type, Subsidiary, Department, Class, Location, and custom segments—without creating separate flux analysis scenarios for each view. This capability allows controllers and accounting managers to quickly pivot their variance analysis to understand what's driving a fluctuation, not just that one occurred. For example, if revenue is up 15% period-over-period, users can instantly drill into that variance by Entity to see which customer contributed the most, by Transaction Type to distinguish invoice revenue from credit memos, or by custom segment to align with their unique organizational structure. By eliminating the need to create and maintain multiple scenarios for different dimensional views, Flux Analysis Dimensions significantly reduces analysis time, accelerates month-end close, and empowers finance teams to provide more insightful variance explanations to leadership—all within NetClose's native NetSuite environment.
