NetAsset - Netgain Add-on Bundles

Netgain has developed additional add-on bundles intended to support the supplemental asset management requirements for customers

NETGAIN | INSURANCE AND CLAIMS CONFIGURATION

Insurance and Claims activity and records can be tracked and associated with asset records. The insurance and claims details are created as child records of the asset record.

STEP BY STEP PROCESS

  • Contact Netgain to get bundle shared to the target account
  • Follow the instructions in NetAsset Bundle Installation section with the bundle ID 297750
  • Navigate to Customization > List, Record, & Fields > Record Types
  • Select the link to the record, NetClaim
  • On the Fields subtab, select the New Field button to add a field to the record with the following information
    • Label: Asset
    • ID: _ngic_claim_asset
    • Type: List/Record
    • List/Record: NetAsset
    • Record Is Parent: checked
    • Parent Subtab: Insurance
  • Navigate to Customization > List, Record, & Fields > Record Types
  • Select the link to the record, NetInsurance
  • On the Fields subtab, select the New Field button to add a field to the record with the following information
    • Label: Asset
    • ID: _ngic_insur_asset
    • Type: List/Record
    • List/Record: NetAsset
    • Record Is Parent: checked
    • Parent Subtab: Insurance

NETGAIN | MAINTENANCE CONFIGURATION

Maintenance activity and records can be tracked and associated with asset records. These maintenance details are created as child records of the asset record and are intended to support both preventative and corrective activities. This maintenance detail is then available for reporting and tracking.  

Please note that the maintenance record will show up once the asset has been created 

STEP BY STEP PROCESS

  • Contact Netgain to get bundle shared to the target account
  • Follow the instructions in NetAsset Bundle Installation section with the bundle ID 297747
  • Navigate to Customization > List, Record, & Fields > Record Types
  • Select the link to the record, NG Maintenance
  • On the Fields subtab, select the New Field button to add a field to the record with the following information
    • Label: Asset
    • ID: _ngmnt_maint_asset
    • Type: List/Record
    • List/Record: NetAsset
    • Record Is Parent: checked
    • Parent Subtab: Maintenance

NETGAIN | UNITS CONFIGURATION

NetAsset supports the capture and tracking of an underlying unit when there is a single asset record with multiple underlying units. This bundle adds that unit record and users can add additional unit information fields where appropriate. Units created are child records of the asset record, and all associated information is available for reporting and tracking.

STEP BY STEP PROCESS

  • Contact Netgain to get bundle shared to the target account
  • Follow the instructions in NetAsset Bundle Installation section with the bundle ID 297752
  • Navigate to Customization > List, Record, & Fields > Record Types
  • Select the link to the record, Net Unit
  • On the Fields subtab, select the New Field button to add a field to the record with the following information
    • Label: Asset
    • ID: _ngun_unit_asset
    • Type: List/Record
    • List/Record: NetAsset
    • Record Is Parent: checked
    • Parent Subtab: Related Records
