NetClose - Task Steps
Steps or accounting procedures are guides to completing a task. They can include steps to complete the procedure and therefore task. They can be specific and attached to a single task, or general and attached to multiple tasks. These can be used as part of the audit trail to see how tasks are completed.

Step by Step
Import Option Standard practice is creating two CSV files. One will list each accounting procedure and its attributes. The second will list each step for each accounting procedure and its details. Both will be uploaded to NetSuite using the standard import function. This will be done at implementation. The following steps are meant as a guide for adding individual accounting procedures as needed and to explain the specific attributes. |
Navigate to NetClose > Setup > Accounting Procedure. Press New NetClose Accounting Procedure. Fill out the primary and procedure detail information as follows:

Steps Subtab
Steps are optional. There is not a limit to the number of steps that can be added to an accounting procedure. Descriptions and links from the steps will show on the accounting procedure record once they are created. Steps should be created for any actions necessary to complete the task.
To add steps to an accounting procedure, navigate to the Steps subtab. Press New NetClose Accounting Procedure Step to create a new step.
A new accounting procedure step record will open. Enter the details for the step as follows:
