NetClose - Flux Account Groupings
Overview:
NetClose has the ability to run a Flux Analysis by account groups. These groups allow users to organize related accounts for easier reporting and analysis. This article explains how to set up the Flux Analysis account groups and the three different options when generating these account groups.
System Setup:
Search "NetClose Flux Analysis Group" in the global search bar. This will show a list of all the available groups. To create a new group select New NetClose Flux Analysis Group.
The Flux Analysis Group is defaulted on the account record to match the NetSuite account type. If the user would like to change these groups, it can be done manually in the account record or through a CSV upload.
If an account does not have an assigned Flux Analysis Group, the system will not generate a flux analysis for that account.
To manually update the groups, navigate to the chart of accounts within NetSuite. Select Edit next to the account that needs to be assigned a group.
Select the correct group in the "NetClose Flux Analysis Group" field.
Generate the Flux Analysis Groups:
Navigate to NetClose > Flux Analysis > Generate Flux.
On the Generate Flux Scenario page, there is a filter titled "Flux Grouping". There are three options when generating the Flux Analysis:
1) Accounts and Groups
2) Groups Only
3) Accounts Only
Accounts and Groups:
When generating by "Accounts and Groups" the system will display the flux analysis by groups that can then be drilled into to show individual account comparisons. There will be a consolidated flux comparison for each group and individual comparisons for each account within the group.
Groups Only:
When generating by "Groups Only" the system will generate a consolidated analysis for each Flux Analysis Account Group.
Accounts Only:
When generating by "Accounts Only" the system will generate an individual analysis for each account.
